6 Offenders, 1 Pregnant Armed with Bolt Cutters, in “Flash Mob Robbery” at Old Orchard Nordstrom Store in Skokie

Skokie police responded about 11:08 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 to a report that six offenders were connected to a flash mob robbery and took merchandise consisting of handbag, purses, scarves, socks and store fixtures from Nordstrom at Old Orchard Mall — 4937 Old Orchard Shopping Center in Skokie, Illinois. The suspects are wanted for investigation of a “Retail Theft Over $300.”

Four female offenders entered the store. The offenders were described as two male/black subjects in the getaway car, and four female/black suspects that entered the Nordstrom

Suspect #1 was described as female/black, age 20, wearing a gray hoodie.

Suspect #2 was described as a female/black, age 20, pregnant, wearing a tan camouflage hoodie over her head, black leggings and armed with a bolt cutters.

Suspect #3 was described as a female/black, age 20, wearing an Adidas outfit.

Suspect #4 was described as a female/black, age 20, black shower cap, gray hoodie, and denim pants.

The male suspects were not described in detail.

The suspects took multiple handbags, Marc Jacobs handbags, Burberry scarves and socks, and two metal fixtures.

The suspects fled in a blue 2016 4-door Chevrolet.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
