A family finds a stray Chicken in Chicago

How will you feel when you find the stray chicken in Chicago?

Do you think it’s a joke? No, not at all, the stray chicken was sent to CBS 2 Insider Vince Gerasole on a wild chicken chase this morning.

Kevin’s family found wandering in their lane when Kevin Barry was finding a home for the bird. He was scraped and scratched. The chicken’s feathers slightly ruffled under the pouring rain.

Kevin Barry said that my opinion is it is much emphasized from missing its home and being in the rain and meeting these new people. The more he said that the stray bird walked his life when his wife and kids observed it rambling through the neighbourhood, which was just kind of wiggling along as chickens do.

The farmyard was not rural but that was urban backyard in Lakeview. Barry said that I did not require to pick the chicken up. The chicken has claws and beaks and I don’t know how to control chickens.

The Barry family made a shelter with a plastic crate, fixed an old small gate at the entrance of the garden and then put the chicken into their courtyard.

Barry said that then, we began placing out some food, googling what do you feed chickens.

They also started a search about the lost chicken on social media. They started distributing the flyers of the birds called Mister.

The Barry said that we have had people who say I think this chicken has been walking around for a while. I listened about it before in Logan square. We see a photograph. It is totally unlike the chicken.

In Chicago, there is no limit to having chickens as a pet as long as you keep your pets under highly reliable sanitary circumstances. You can keep chickens as pets or for eggs or even you can keep roasters as well.

Barry said that one of the neighbours recommended calling Animal Control and I worried Animal Control was just going to kill the chicken.

These are all points on which Barry family decided to go to Chicago Chicken Rescue on the South Side that already has peacocks, eighty chickens and a turkey. Most of these are brought there by animal control.
