Angel Reese Named to 2025 WNBA All-Star Game

Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese heads back to the WNBA All-Star Game in 2025, securing her place
among the league’s elite for the second year in a row. The event is set for July 19 at Gainbridge
Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and will be broadcast live on ABC.

Reese made her All-Star debut in 2024 as the fourth rookie in Sky history to receive the honor.
Since then, she has continued to elevate her game. This season, she is averaging 12.4 points and
leads the WNBA with 12.6 rebounds per game. Her stat line also includes 3.8 assists, 1.8 steals,
and 0.6 blocks per contest.

Over her last nine games, Reese has further stepped up her performance, averaging 15 points,
12.8 rebounds, and nearly five assists per game. She currently ranks first in the league in
rebounds and fifth in steals per game.

Reese made history between June 22 and 29 by becoming the first player ever to record four
consecutive games with at least 15 rebounds. She also notched her first career triple-double on
June 15 against Connecticut, finishing with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists. That
achievement made her the second-youngest player in league history to reach a triple-double and
just the fourth player in Chicago Sky history to do so.

In another standout performance on June 29 versus Los Angeles, Reese recorded 24 points, 16
rebounds, and seven assists—a statistical feat previously matched only by WNBA legends Tina
Thompson, Lisa Leslie, and Candace Parker.

Reese’s contributions have also placed her among the Sky’s all-time leaders in rebounding. With
647 career rebounds, she surpassed Stefanie Dolson for tenth place on the franchise list
following the June 29 game. She also broke into the team’s top five for offensive rebounds
during the June 27 matchup against Golden State.

Angel Reese’s impact continues to resonate both on the stat sheet and in league history as she
cements herself as one of the WNBA’s rising stars.
