Four people wounded in Thursday shooting incident across Chicago

Thursday was not a safe day for Chicagoans as four people were wounded in the shooting events within the city limit. The latest shooting incident took place in Austin on the West Side of the city.

Chicago police said, “A man, 39-year-old, was standing in the street in the 4900 block of West Iowa Street at midnight. An unknown person shot him from a Sedan and ran off at about 11:34 pm”. The man received the bullet wound on the hand and he was brought to the West Suburban Medical Center. His condition was stabilized in the hospital, according to the police.

Another shooting incident took place a few blocks away from West Iowa street in which a person was critically wounded. A person was standing in the street of North Parkside Avenue when someone opened fire on him from a silver color sedan. This incident took place at about 1 pm. The man, 21-year-old, was shot on the head and he was brought to the Stronger Hospital in a critical condition.

At about 12:30 pm, a person was wounded in West Town in a gun violence incident. He heard a loud voice while standing on a street in the 2400 block of the West Lake Street. He felt severe pain in his leg as he was shot by someone. Police said, “The man was brought to the Stronger Hospital and his condition is stabilized now”.

Another shooting incident too place in Archer Heights in which a lady was hurt by the gun shot. She was standing in a street of South Keating Avenue when someone opened fire at her. The incident took place at about 1:19 am. The woman, 29-year-old, was shot by someone from a Toyota Camry, dark-colored, in the 4700 block of South Keating Avenue. She received a bullet on her buttocks and she was wounded badly. The authorities took her to the Mount Sinai Hospital. Her condition was stabilized in the hospital, according to the police. Three people were wounded earlier in Wednesday shootings.
