I-Cash and Utility Bill Clinic to be hosted by Rep. Monica Bristow

State Representative Monica Bristow will host an I-Cash for helping the residents of Granite City to keep money in their pockets. The office of Illinois Treasurer will be the co-host of the event. A Utility Bill Clinic will also be hosted by Rep. Bristow. The Citizens Utility Board will be the co-host of the Utility Bill Clinic. Both events will be organized on Dec. 2, 2019.

Bristow said, “Residents can stop by the 6 Mile Library of Johnson Road in the morning.” She added that the residents would be able to check whether they had any unclaimed property held by the government. She said that the properties would be returned to the rightful owners. The I-Cash event will be hosted by Bristow on December 2, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The location of the event is 6 Mile Library, 2145 Johnson Road, Granite City.

Bristow told about the Utility Bill Clinic, “In the afternoon, residents can bring to their telephone, electric, and other utility bills to Granite City Township Hall.” She added that the residents would meet with the experts in the Hall and they would know the ways to lower their utility bills. The Utility Bill Clinic will be held on December 2, from 1:00 am to 3:00 pm. The location of the event is Granite City Township Hall, 2060 Delmar Ave., Granite City.

Bristow said, “Many families in the region live on fixed incomes, so I am working on ways to keep money in the pockets of citizens.” It was the main purpose of these two events to help the residents in terms of keeping the money in their pockets, according to Bristow. The I-Cash events helped several residents with the return of their properties and cash.

The events are free and open to the public. The residents are recommended to RSVP for the Utility Bill Clinic event by calling at (800) 669-5556. The events are organized for the betterment of the residents of Granite City. The residents are encouraged to participate in both events.
