Indian pilot, Abhinandan, captured by Pakistan

Pakistan forces captured Indian pilot on Wednesday who is really a point of focus in the current time in terms of reducing tensions between two countries. The pilot belongs to the Southern city of India (Chennai). The jet flown by him was shot down by the Pakistan Air Force and he escaped from the jet. A mob caught him at the Pakistan’s territory. Pak Army saved him from the mob and took him to the army unit in Bhimbher. India demanded the release of its pilot and social media is also talking about his release.

The local residents talked to the media that the jet was shot down and crashed at their location in Bhimbhir district. The locals found the pilot of the crashed jet who was quite afraid of being getting harmed by the mob. Indian media reported that the family of Abhinandan Varthaman appealed the government of India for the immediate release of the pilot. The family did not comment about the capture of him.

Wing Commander Abhinandan nis the son of a former fighter pilot and his mother is a doctor. He is married and have a son as well. Air Marshal Simhakutty Varthaman, father of Abhinandan, also worked as an advisor in a Tamil film based on Kargil conflict. Group Captain K Nachiketa was captured in the Kargil war by the Pakistan. Nachiketa talked to media, “He must have to be treated appropriately by the Pakistan Army as an officer”. India has accepted that its pilot is captured by the Pakistan and it demanded immediate release of Abhinandan. A footage is revolving on the social media in which Abhinandan talks about how the Pak Army took care of him. He was sipping the tea as well and it can be seen in the footage.

DG ISPR of Pak Army, Maj. Gen. Asif Ghafoor, said, “The pilot is being treated on the base of army ethics”. Rahul Gandhi tweeted about him and hoped for his safe return. He added that we are standing by our armed forces. Some politicians are showing extreme concerns as well.
