Numerous Gunshot Victims in Chicago

On Monday, July 20, 2020, at around 7:50 p.m., police and firefighter/paramedics responded to a report of multiple people shot at Douglas Boulevard and Lawndale Avenue the North Lawndale neighborhood in Chicago. It was initially reported that about 20 shots were fired with three people shot outside.

The police are investigating the matter. They are looking for suspects in a white Chevrolet Impala with black tinted windows. Police had arrived on the scene and requested four ambulances.

Around 7:57 p.m., an EMS Plan 1 was activated by EMS Field Commander 4-5-4 then 4-5-7. At least one person was possibly self-transported to a nearby hospital. It was reported that at the same time frame, two people were shot near 12th and California Avenue.
