Premier Design + Build Group starts off Bridge Point Itasca project

The Bridge Point Itasca is the mixed-use project of the Bridge Development Partners, LLC. The Bridge Development Partners has hired the Premier Design + Build Group for this 48-acre developmental project in the northwest suburban Itasca. Three new buildings will be constructed by the Premier at an area of 741621 square feet.

A retail zone will also be developed in an area of 7-acre. The Premier will provide the design and build services for this project of the Bridge. Two decommissioned radio broadcast towers were present on the site. The Premier supervised the demolition of the towers in July. Apart from the towers, a fuel oil tank, a concrete foundation, and two satellite buildings were also cleared from the site.

The new project is located at the southeast corner of Devon Avenue and Rohlwing Road. The site has been cleared for the construction of the project. The groundbreaking ceremony of the project was held by the Premier. According to the company, three industrial buildings will be used as logistic centers. Precast concrete, steel, and high-end glass will be the feature of the project in each building.

There will be a parking facility of 202 cars in the first building along with two drive-in doors and 40 exterior truck doors. There will be a parking facility of 234 cars in the second building along with two drive-in doors and 34 exterior truck doors. In Building 3, there will be the facility for the parking of 213 cars along with two drive-in doors and 38 exterior truck doors. The building will serve as distribution and logistics centers.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held on Oct. 30. Jeff Pruyn, the mayor of Village of Itasca, attended the ceremony and said, “This was the one parcel in Itasca that I never thought we would get to have a groundbreaking on.” Nick Siegel, the vice president of the Bridge Point, said, “We are personally invested in the success of the Bridge Point Itasca.”
