Rickie Fowler Backs Shriners Children’s Through TGL

Rickie Fowler, one of golf’s most recognizable figures, has partnered with Shriners Children’s to spotlight the organization’s mission of delivering specialized pediatric care without regard to a family’s financial circumstances. The collaboration aligns with the launch of the second season of TGL presented by SoFi, a team-based golf league featuring leading PGA TOUR players.

Throughout the TGL season, Fowler will actively support Shriners Children’s initiatives beginning with the league’s opening match on Sunday, December 28 at 3 p.m. ET on ABC. Fans are encouraged to participate by donating through ShrinersTGL.com, where contributors can unlock chances to receive exclusive Rickie Fowler PUMA merchandise and access one-of-a-kind TGL experiences.

“Every shot starts with belief. Something extraordinary can happen. Shriners Children’s provides hope, healing, and the chance to dream big. They never allow the ability to pay to compromise the care children receive. Shriners Children’s empowers the extraordinary and you can too. Join me in supporting this life-changing cause and help provide the most amazing care anywhere,” said Rickie Fowler.

Fowler reiterated his commitment to the organization, noting that he is proud to align himself with Shriners Children’s and the impact it has on young patients. He highlighted the institution’s expertise and compassion, emphasizing how its medical care, research, and education efforts help children overcome obstacles and pursue their dreams.

Dustin Johnson, national director of sports for Shriners Children’s, said Fowler’s involvement will play a key role in expanding awareness of the charity’s mission. “Rickie’s decision to support Shriners Children’s will generate visibility and build support for our charitable cause,” Johnson stated. “Through the global stage of TGL, golf fans now have a meaningful way to support our mission of delivering hope, healing, and extraordinary outcomes for children around the world, regardless of the families’ ability to pay or insurance status.”

The partnership is expected to expand further in 2026 with the debut of the Rickie Fowler Skills Challenge at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The venue, purpose-built for TGL competitions, will host fans who can test their skills while supporting Shriners Children’s.

Shriners Children’s is widely known for providing advanced pediatric care, focusing on complex medical needs without considering insurance coverage or payment ability.

TGL presented by SoFi was developed by TMRW Sports as a high-energy team golf competition featuring elite PGA TOUR professionals, including co-founders Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. The league’s inaugural season concluded in March 2025, when Atlanta Drive GC captured the first SoFi Cup at SoFi Center on the Palm Beach State College campus in Florida. TGL has also earned industry recognition, including the Sloan MIT Sports Analytics Conference’s Alpha Award for Best Sports Innovation.

Additional details and donation opportunities related to the campaign are available at ShrinersTGL.com.
