Aurora, IL – The true story of Newsboys’ strike of 1899 produced by Disney has been kicked off in the ninth season of Paramount Theatre. The story directed by Jim Corti, a Paramount artistic director, is bold and sweet. There are a sweet taste and touching feel in the story. Justine Cameron played the role of determined Katherine while Alex Prakken played the role of Jack.
The reflection of the extraordinary choreographic work makes the story of Newsies more exciting. Joshua Blake Carter took the responsibility of the choreography in the Paramount’s Newsies very honestly and delicately. The costumes and set design are outstanding and it has now become a tradition of Paramount to focus more on the set and costume design. The button-down shirt and outstanding skirt really deserve a standing ovation.
The story is based on the strength and power of friendship. Greatness can be achieved by working together and staying together. The story is focused on the message of the power of mutual efforts. Corti mentioned the greatness of us as a whole. Paramount’s Newsies inspires us to stay together and move towards the utmost greatness. Newsies has been displayed at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Aurora from 20th of September.
The single ticket for attending a performance ranges from $36 to $74. The schedule of performances has been released by the Paramount Theatre. You can attend a performance at 1:30 pm and 7:00 pm on Wednesday, 7:00 pm on Thursday, 8:00 pm on Friday, 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Saturday, and 1:00 pm and 5:30 pm on Sunday. The deaf viewers get the services of ASL interpretation at the Paramount Theatre.
The ASL interpretation of Newsies will be presented in the Paramount Theatre on Friday. Interested patrons can purchase a ticket with special seating in just $30. There is also an offer for the patrons to get the subscription of all four ASL interpretation performances in $90 for this 2019-20 season.
