8 shots, 1 death during the deadly night in Chicago

There were 8 armed attacks during the night of 21 and 22 April in Chicago. One man died, seven people were injured. 

A 33-year-old man was shot in the 700 block of East 81st Street. His name was Kenneth W. Stanley, his body was found on the scene.

The first shot during this deadly night was around 3:05 p.m. Criminals injured a 23-year-old man in the 1200 block of North Avers Avenue. The man got help in Mount Sinai Hospital.

The next shot took place in the 1100 block of South Ashland Avenue. It was at 5:35 p.m., the victim was a 25-year-old man, he got to Stroger Hospital. Another victim was admitted to this hospital several hours later. It was a boy shot in the 5200 block of South Winchester Avenue.

At 9:30 p.m. a 19-year-old man was shot in the Jeffery Manor neighborhood on the Southeast Side. Also, there were three people shot in the 6600 block of South Evans Avenue in the West Woodlawn Avenue. Police say shoot-out took place around 5:20 a.m.

Among the other victims, there was a woman, a 26-year-old man, and a 16-year-old boy. All of them received necessary medical treatment in the hospitals.
