A car-theft spree in Chicago using an App

Missing vehicles are successfully recovered after reporting, said by a car company.

100 vehicles that also contain 50 Mercedes-Benz are recovered.

A car sharing company of Chicago reported to police that their mobile App has been hacked and by misusing it someone has stolen over 100 extravagant cars of their company.

Chicago police department said that vehicles has been stolen by misleading App.

It is yet uncertain what the hacking has precisely enabled the preps to do, but the compromised app seems to have opened the doorways and given the thieves free rein without difficulty stolen vehicles inside Chicago. There is a 29 rectangular mile area in which the cars have been presupposed to be dropped off, but they have not been constrained from exiting that quarter at any point.

Suspects are being questioned.

Many vehicles have been recovered by using the information told by affected company.

Police department is asking and working fairly with affected company whether there are more vehicles whose locations cannot be indicated.

Car2GO is a car sharing company, revealed that missing vehicles are being recovered vigorously and they are cooperating with police.

Report of CBA Chicago said that many vehicle used to commit crimes.

Police is not sharing details, how these vehicles were used for crime and the type of crime.

Kelton a spokesperson stated in an email that this is an example of fraud, isolated to Chicago and we are currently running with law enforcement.

The company stated it become briefly postponing its Chicago service.

Car2Go is also revealing that approximately 14,000 Mercedes-Benz and vehicles in more than 20 cities in North the United States, Europe, and Asia. It recently joined forces with the BMW car sharing service Drive Now to end up share now.
