Carbondale Park District seeks public input regards strategic planning

The community members are asked by Carbondale Park District to complete a survey related to the strategic planning for the district. The survey is about what community members want in the way of parks and recreation. The deadline for completing and submitting a survey is February 10, 2021. It is a simple survey that will take 5-10 minutes of your time.

The commissioners and staff of the District will get help from the feedback given by the community members to improve parks and recreational facilities. The analytical experts will derive the results from the survey. These results will be used in the development of a multi-year strategic plan for Carbondale Park District.

The interested residents can easily complete the survey online by visiting www.cpkd.org. Carbondale Park District has also arranged the completion of the survey by using offline mode. The District is willing to send you the survey via mail. You can call at (618) 529-4147 to get the paper version of the survey at your mailing address.

Carbondale Park District has organized to place Survey and Completed Survey bins at the main entrances of various locations including LIFE Community Center, Hickory Lodge Administrative Building, and Hickory Ridge Public Golf Center Clubhouse.

The community will be able to view the survey results at www.cpkd.org. The officials of the District said that they would collect the survey results until Feb. 10, 2021.
