Ramos, along with Jeremy Jones and Timothy Jones, kidnapped a student from downtown Glen Ellyn on 26th of August, 2016. They drove him to multiple ATMs for robbing more than $1500 from him. On the same day, they drove him to Chicago later on and released him. The student called 911 after reaching a nearby building.

The prosecutors said, “The Glen Ellyn police investigated the case and arrested Ramos on August 30, 2016”. Ramos lived in South Elgin, according to the prosecutors. Timothy Jones was arrested on 6th of September, 2016 while Jeremy Jones was arrested on 18th of September, 2016.
