The flow of information between local public health officials and the business community regarding COVID-19 must be coordinated, this is been requested to the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council (GPEDC). The entire region, state, and nation are facing rough times.
The spread of COVID-19 is causing scare and frustration among the citizen. People who own or manage the business are facing the added worry of fewer customers, a smaller workforce, disruption in deliveries, and a host of other issues.
All these issues can’t be solved alone, but the best we can do is to provide the most timely information possible and also ask you to share your situation with us. GPEDC can’t achieve these feats alone, so they will be working with area chambers of commerce, local economic development groups, and other similar groups to deliver you this information.
You will be getting these information emails more than once. You may be annoyed with the bulk mails but you need to remember that over-communicating is preferable to under-communicating.
We have set a special email address
. So if you have a question, any inquiry, or want to share information about the company’s situation, do contact us. We will do our best to address your issues as they arise.
