He served 10 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections in this case. He was also convicted of four other drug-related charges in White County. The Pekin Police Department and Drug Enforcement Administration investigated the case.

The case was prosecuted by Katherine Legge, an assistant US attorney. Dodd is sentenced to 15 years in prison by Judge McDade on Nov. 20. He will also remain on supervised release for 10 years after serving his sentence. Dodd remained in the custody of the US Marshal Services after he was arrested by the police.
