The vehicle of the Chicagoans rolled over on a New Mexico highway. The accident occurred on US Highway 54 near Vaughn on Saturday, according to the New Mexico police. The accident occurred at about 12:30 pm which killed four Chicago residents.
A 2005 Nissan Armada crossed the center line and rolled over, investigators said. The driver of the vehicle remained inside the car while six passengers were ejected from it, police reported. Three passengers died on the spot. They were pronounced dead at the scene in Guadalupe County. The fourth passenger died while being transported by helicopter to the area hospital.
The identification of the dead passengers has been made by the authorities. The victims of the brutal rollover crash are Fransisco Salazar, 41-year-old, Daniel Salazar, 17-year-old, Natalie Salazar, 10-year-old, and Ramon Morales, 69-year-old. The driver remained in the car during the crash and he received non-life threatening injuries, according to the police.
Police said that two passengers received undisclosed injuries. These injured passengers are a boy, 16-year-old, and a woman, 21-year-old. Both of the injured passengers are the residents of Chicago.
