Trump Denied $300M Military Assistance to Pakistan

Pentagon decided not to assist Pakistan with a $300 M aid because Islamabad is not good enough at preventing war in Afganistan.

The main goal of Islamabad is to make their border territory free of Afghan militants. According to Pentagon spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Kone Faulkner, they are ready to invest this money into other valuable projects. Donald Trump announced that America is ready to support Pakistan in their difficult political situation at the beginning of the year. Despite this, the USA is not ready to waste money for military actions that are not efficient.  In case Pakistan will take measures against the 17-year-old war in Afghanistan American support will be given back to the country.

America stated to assist Pakistan in 2002. During this period Pakistan received more than $33 billion and participated in the U.S. Defense Department reimburse program. U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley told that Pakistan is playing a double game receiving funding from America and at the same time sheltering Afghanistan terrorists. Donald Trump explained Pentagon`s decision to deny assistance saying, that “they (Pakistan) give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan”.
