Pentagon decided not to assist Pakistan with a $300 M aid because Islamabad is not good enough at preventing war in Afganistan.
The main goal of Islamabad is to make their border territory free of Afghan militants. According to Pentagon spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Kone Faulkner, they are ready to invest this money into other valuable projects. U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley told that Pakistan is playing a double game receiving funding from America and at the same time sheltering Afghanistan terrorists. Donald Trump explained Pentagon`s decision to deny assistance saying, that “they (Pakistan) give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan”.
