United Arab Emirates is seeing a rapid decline in Coronavirus cases. In today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health, it was stated that Coronavirus patients are recovering fast, whereas the daily positive cases are declining. In the last 24 hours, 430 Coronavirus cases are reported taking the total tally to 46, 563.
The number of people undergoing treatment is also declining. Within the last 24 hours, 760 patients recovered from the virus. The number of people that have defeated the disease reaches 35, 135. In the state, within the last 24 hours, only one person has lost live to Coronavirus. 308 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19.
49,000 tests were performed only yesterday. So far, 3.2 million tests have been performed on people belonging to different sectors of life. It should be noted that the UAE Ministry of Health has warned that people who are in quarantine in their homes will not be allowed to leave their homes until the test report is negative.
It should be noted that UAE’s government has imposed a 50,000 dirham fine for Coronavirus positive people violating their home quarantine for the first time. For a second violation, the fine is 100,000 dirhams and imprisonment for up to six months. According to the ministry, two types of people will take home quarantine:
The people who have interacted with COVID-19 patients have to inform the Ministry of Health. They are not allowed to leave their homes until their tests are negative. Home quarantine people are required to wear an electric bracelet provided by the Ministry of Health so that the authorities are made aware of any possible violations.
