The AAUW Elmhurst Area Branch will once again welcome book lovers to its highly anticipated
Annual Used Book Sale, taking place June 26–29 at Sandburg Middle School (345 E. St. Charles
Road, Elmhurst, Illinois).
Attendees will be able to browse and purchase thousands of gently used items, including books,
CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, and audiobooks. The event helps raise funds for local scholarships
and national programs supporting women and girls, as part of the American Association of
University Women’s broader mission.
The sale opens with a Preview Night on Thursday, June 26, from 6–9 p.m., with a $20 admission
fee. Please note that children under 12 will not be admitted on Preview Night.
Admission is free for all remaining sale dates:
Friday, June 27: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday, June 28: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Sunday, June 29: 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
The final day will feature the popular Bag Sale, where shoppers can fill a bag of books for just
$10. Payment is accepted via cash or check.
The AAUW Elmhurst Area Branch is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and proceeds
from the book sale are directed toward empowering women through education and advocacy.
