Omari Glasgow Heads to Loudoun United on Loan

Chicago Fire FC has confirmed that versatile defender and winger Omari Glasgow will join Loudoun United Football Club on loan for the remainder of the 2025 season.

The 21-year-old signed with Chicago Fire II in March 2022 as part of the club’s MLS NEXT Pro roster, before earning a first-team contract in December 2024. This season, Glasgow has appeared in 14 matches for Chicago Fire, starting in four. In 2024, he made three first-team appearances under short-term agreements after being called up from Chicago Fire II.

Glasgow has also built a strong international career with the Guyana Men’s National Team, where he leads the Golden Jaguars in scoring with 21 goals in 33 caps. His breakout year came in 2024, when he was named CONCACAF Nations League Young Player of the Tournament and finished as the competition’s top scorer, netting seven goals in five matches. He made history as the first Guyanese player to receive the award and the youngest recipient at just 20 years old.

“Chicago Fire FC loans winger Omari Glasgow to Loudoun United Football Club for the remainder of the 2025 season,” the club’s communications team stated in its official release.

The move offers Glasgow an opportunity for more playing time while allowing the Chicago Fire to monitor his development in the USL Championship.
