Chicago gets jobs: Ford adds 450 vacancies to meet the demand

Lincoln Aviator and Ford Explorer are the first choices of most of the SUV lovers. The increasing demand for these vehicles has urged Ford to create new jobs. Ford has created 450 new and full-time jobs in Chicago by spending $50 million.

Ford has created the new jobs for meeting the demand of Lincoln Aviator and Ford Explorer. The company will upgrade a 200, 000 square feet building which is located near the Chicago Assembly Plant of the company. The company focuses on the modification of Explorers into the vehicles which are used by law enforcement. The painted bodies of the vehicles will be sent to the upgraded building from the assembly plant.

The company said, “In the upgraded building, workers will put together the Explorer hybrid, Aviator plug-in hybrid, and police explorer.” The temporary jobs, at least 450, will become permanent jobs and full-time jobs. More temporary jobs will be hired by the company in the assembly plant and stamping plant. The explorer police vehicles will be modified in a nearby building.

Ford announced the plan to spend $1 billion and add 500 jobs in Chicago. This investment is in addition to that plan. It is a vital opportunity for people to get their full-time job in a well-reputed company in the world. Ford will create more temporary jobs as well in order to meet the demand for SUV vehicles in the United States.

Ford has made a huge investment of $50 million in the creation of 450 full-time jobs in Chicago. The company will upgrade a huge building near the assembly plant. The vehicles will be put together in the upgraded building. The assembled vehicles in Ford’s Assembly Plant Chicago will be transported to the upgraded building. The workers will put together the painted vehicles including the Explorer hybrid, Aviator plug-in hybrid, and police Explorers.
