Hawaii Volcano`s Eruption Led to Formation of Toxic Cloud

Kilauea volcanic eruption that had been started two weeks ago in Hawaii led to the formation of a huge toxic cloud.

A toxic cloud is dangerous to health, authorities from Rescue Service warn people not to get near to it. One part of the Big Island has been absolutely paralyzed by red-hot lava. Touching seawater, it emits the toxic cloud.

According to the scientists, the cloud contains fine particles of glass that can irritate skin and eyes and lead to suffocation of a person. The danger zone is on the southern coast of the Big Island but the other territories may be also under threat if the wind shifts.

The Coast Guard service took necessary measures to keep people safe but it was not possible to avoid injuries, one man suffered from a piece of lava. The volcano caused much destruction, in particular, 20 houses and 20 other types of building were destroyed, 2000 people had been displaced from their homes.

The last time Kilauea volcano erupted in 1955. Scientists cannot predict when the eruption is going to finish. Touristic season at Hawaii continues because most parts of the Big Island are safe.
