The man has been identified as Jason Gray. He is 41-years old and is a resident of West Chicago.
Police had gotten a tip of drugs in a home in West Chicago.
The police had entered his house and search his home. On searching his home, they had found drugs and weapons.
He was arrested by the police. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.
He has been held on a bail money of $500,000.
The police searched his home on Wednesday. His house is situated in the 800 block of Burr Oaks Drive.
Police had found about 462 grams of Cocaine, 26.1 grams of fentanyl and 89.9 grams of mushrooms. The drugs were not in the open. The police had found these drugs in a safe inside his bedroom.
The state’s attorney office has confirmed the presence of the drugs. These were not the only drugs found in the house.
The police also found about 2.930 kilograms of marijuana.
Besides the drugs, they also found a weapon. There was a .45 caliber Taurus handgun.
He has been charged with various charges by the authorities. The DuPage County state’s attorney office says that Jason Gray has been charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
One felony which accounts for possession with intent to deliver cannabis. Another felony of unauthorized use of a weapon by a felon.
The DuPage County state’s attorney office also says that Jason has been taken into custody by the police. He has been taken to the DuPage County Jail.
He has been held on a bail worth half a million dollars.
He will be presented in court next month. His court date has been set for May 2.
