Naperville Park District to host Kite Fly event on August 30

The Branch is presenting the Kite Fly event in Naperville Park District on Sunday, August 30, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. According to the event managers, the event will take place at Frontier Sports Complex and it will be a free and family-friendly event. The address of Frontier Sports Complex is 3380 Cedar Glade Drive.

The purpose of the event is to provide a vast space for the eventgoers to fly and enjoy watching colorful kites. Chicago Kite, a group of kite enthusiasts, will perform in the event. The group will fly enormous kites to fill the sky. According to Chicago Kite, they will present their flying techniques in the event. The eventgoers will be able to purchase kites from Chicago Kite during the event.

Kite Fly has been sponsored by The Branch, Topgolf, FBC Remodel, Texas Roadhouse, Illinois Shotokan Karate, UrgiKids, Renewal by Andersen, Naperville Convention and Visitors Bureau, and KidsMatter. These sponsors will share information with the eventgoers.

The event managers issued necessary pieces of advice for the public related to the kite event. The participants are advised to bring lunch and snacks with them. They will require to find a spot to spread out their blanket or folding chair. The precautionary measures issued for the outdoor events due to the coronavirus outbreak will be followed during the event.

The event managers advised the participants to read the precautionary measures before planning to come to the event. There will be no food trucks on site this year. The Kite Fly officials said that it would be a family-friendly event in Naperville Park District.
