Trump fights illegal immigration: 1600 violators went to jail

To prevent illegal immigration Donald Trump strengthened government policies against illegal immigrants. Violators awaiting deportation from the USA were moved to federal prisons, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

During the last years, the American government hasn`t been taken strict security measures against those who crossed the border illegally for the first time. Those people waited for deportation and came back to their native countries.

Donald Trump changed that way of proceeding. All violators should be detained despite the circumstances of their arrival to the USA. This crackdown is necessary to reduce the number of illegal immigrants.

ICE spokeswoman Danielle Bennett told that there were not enough places at federal prisons but additional bed space had been found. ICE is going to use detention centers in Victorville, California, La Tuna, Texas, Sheridan, Oregon, Phoenix, and Seattle. Most departments are overloaded today, but the number of immigrants is still very high, they come from Mexico, Central and South America.
