Chicago Fire II Faces Orlando City B in MLS NEXT Pro

Chicago Fire FC II will travel to Kissimmee, Florida, to face Orlando City B on Sunday, March 8, in its second match of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season. The game will take place at Osceola Heritage Park with kickoff scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT. Fans can watch the match on OneFootball or MLSNEXTPro.com, with Jack Edwards providing play-by-play commentary.

Chicago enters the contest following a season-opening draw against Inter Miami CF II on Feb. 27. The match ended 1-1 before Chicago secured the extra point in a penalty shootout. Inter Miami opened the scoring, but Chicago responded four minutes later when Dylan Borso advanced along the left flank and set up Damyan Villanueva, who assisted Trip Fleming for his first goal of the season. Goalkeeper Owen Pratt later delivered a key save in the shootout, earning Chicago two points.

Orlando City B began its season on March 2 with a home match against Huntsville City FC. Former Orlando player Shak Mohammed scored twice for Huntsville, helping his new club claim a 3-1 win. Harvey Sarajian scored Orlando’s lone goal just before halftime.

Sunday’s match will be the eighth meeting between the two clubs at this level and the first played in Kissimmee since 2024. Orlando currently leads the series with four wins to Chicago’s two, though Chicago claimed the most recent matchup with a 5-1 victory at UIC Flames Field.

Chicago Fire FC competes in Major League Soccer and hosts matches at Soldier Field. Founded as an expansion club in 1997, the organization has won an MLS Cup and multiple U.S. Open Cups. The club also supports the growth of soccer across the Midwest through youth development initiatives and community programs. Its crest and colors draw inspiration from the Great Chicago Fire.
