Millennial quit finance job to provide healthy food to fellow millennials

Syndney Verwilst has recently quit her finance job to pursue her dream. Her dream is to provide healthy food to other. Verwilst is 27-years old and has opened Ingrained. Ingrained is a health food bar that will provide healthy treats to fellow millennials. Following your dreams is beautiful and when your dream is to provide tasteful food to people, the experience is enhanced.

Verwilst is one of those individuals that pursuits her passion. She says that she would do it for free. She said, “I just love watching others understand diets more.” Her passion emerged out of her own pain. She had battled an eating disorder when she was a teenager. She is glad that she can provide help to others with her relationship to food.

“That’s what my whole brand is about,” she said. “It’s about purposeful eating. Like, purpose-driven eating.” Ingrained is opened near LaSalle and Chicago on the Near North Side in May. The most popular items in the health food shop are the granola and raw bars, which she calls Functional Frozen bars. The best thing about them is that the flavors change daily.

Verwilst has taken the help of social media to tell people about her menu. She posts next day’s menu on Ingrained’s Instagram account at night – and once they’re sold out, they’re sold out. She has also launched a website of her food bat. According to Ingrained’s website, the colorful, psychedelically swirled snacks also help incorporate adaptogen/superfoods into one’s diet which can help boost energy during the day

Her food bar offers six kinds of granola and the most interesting thing is that all of them are Verwilst’s original recipes. Consumer experts have said that millennials are more concerned than older generation of what food they are putting in their bodies.
