Bristow teams up with Santa Claus to share gifts at local daycares
State Representative Monica Bristow, D-Alton, joined Santa Claus to spread Christmas cheer with the community. Bristow shared stockings of goodies at local daycares. Bristow said, “Christmas is a special time for me and my family, and I wanted to share some holiday cheer with some of the kids in my district”.
Bristow added that every child deserved a special Christmas. She said that she felt happy to help Santa make the Christmas special for the kids. She went to local daycares two days before Christmas. She delivered stockings of treats to the kids. Abe Lee Barham also joined Bristow in the distribution of stockings. Bristow is quite interested in spending some time at the local daycares. She regularly comes to the local daycares to read.
Bristow is also involved in helping other organizations including Riverbend Family Ministries and Salvation Army. She always participates in their annual holiday service projects. Bristow said, “I am proud to be part of a giving and compassionate community willing to step up and help our children and those in need.”
She hoped that everyone would have a blessed Christmas and holiday season. It is important for everyone to spend the Christmas and holiday season with his/her family and loved ones. She also wished Merry Christmas to everyone while talking to the media.
