The permit is for the work and it says “first time tenant office build=out of single-tenant office space on floors 8 South, 9 South, 10 Southeast and 12 north. Partial work on floors 8, 10 and 12. New non-egress communicating stairs between 8 and 9.”

In the redevelopment project, Uber is the largest tenant. They had signed a 10-year lease for nearly 500,000 sq. ft. of office space in the building. This Office will be the company’s second-largest office. The biggest office is its San Francisco headquarters.
