Kinzie Builders tops off  million rental community project in Chicago

Kinzie Builders said that it had topped off a $20 million rental community project in the Chicago suburb of Mount Prospect. The project, 10 North Main, is expected to be completed in January 2021. It will include 97 units. According to the builder, it is one of the newly completed projects in the burgeoning downtown area of the suburb.

10 North Main is a recently completed project within the Prospect and Main TIF District. The builder said that it had also started the construction work on a four-story rental development project in the Glen Ellyn. The project, Avere on Duane, has a budget of $15 million. It will include 48 units and open in January 2021.

Steve Spinell, a Kinzie Builders official, said, “Luxury rental construction in Chicago and the suburbs have definitely been on the rise over the past decade.” 10 North Main will include a precast parking garage. First Equity Group LLC is the owner of this project. Harlem Irving Companies is providing the development services for 10 North Main, a podium-style building. OKW Architects is providing architectural services.

According to the company officials, ECL Engineers Consultants, Pierce Engineering, LETech Inc., V3 Companies, and Kathryn Talty Landscape Architecture are also providing their services in different fields. Avere on Duane is one of the new development projects in Glen Ellyn. This project will include an underground precast parking garage.

REVA Development Partners is the owner of Avere on Duane. BSB Design Inc. is providing architectural services for this project. RTM & Associates Engineering Consultants, Lakota Group, Haeger Engineering, LETech Inc., Pierce Engineering, and Loren Stanton Design are providing their services in their relevant fields. “We are pleased this project is on track, despite the challenges of pandemic,” said Spinell. He appreciated the efforts of contractors and other groups in terms of the progress of this project.
