Naperville Electric Utility customers get offer of rebates
The residents and non-residents of Naperville can apply for availing the offer. The qualified residential and non-residential customers of the Naperville Electric Utility will get $200 rebate if they install a level 2 or level 3 electric vehicle charging station for private use. The customers will get a rebate of $500 if they install a level 2 or level 3 electric vehicle charging station for public use.
The offer is available between Sep 1, 2019, and Apr. 30, 2020. The customers can apply for a rebate if they purchase and install a charging station in the mentioned time period. The qualification criteria are also set by the City of Naperville. The charging stations must be passed by the inspection team of the City of Naperville. The charging stations must be connected to the electric meter of the City of Naperville and billed under an appropriate rate.
