A new bus service has been launched which offers only $10 for a ride form Indianapolis to Chicago. OurBus, a New York based startup, launched its services in Chicago. The bus service has also shared its route. The bus will stop at Chicago, Lafayette, Zionsville, and Indianapolis.

OurBus takes over the Amtrak’s Hoosier State train. The company will start its services from July 1. The bus will depart from E Washington street and you can catch the bus at Chicago station which is located at 444 Jackson Blvd. The lawmakers of Indiana have stopped funding the Amtrak’s Hoosier State train in the state budget. The Hoosier State trains have been stopped in Crawfordsville, Dyer, Lafayette, and Rensselaer.

Axel Hellman, co-founder of the bus service, said, “We are testing the route as we have not decided to permanently keep our services on this route”. He added, “If the project will align with our interests then we will continue the service on this route”. Indiana lawmakers decided to stop funding the Amtrak’s Hoosier State train which provided and opportunity to the bus service group to operate on the route. The special promo rate of the bus service is $10 for the bookings. It is a vital opportunity for the passengers to travel from Indianapolis to Chicago in just $10. In this project, the buses would stop on four places including Chicago, Lafayette, Zionsville, and Indianapolis.

OurBus service provider posted on Twitter, “Indianapolis and Chicago-See you soon”. The service will be started from July 1 and people can start booking the tickets now in just $10. $10 is the promo offer of the bus service. The bus service is currently testing the route and if things go well then, the route will become permanent.
