Woman faces sexual assault allegedly in former R. Kelly’s studio
A woman was sexually assaulted by three men on Thursday. The woman thought that building in which she was raped once had R. Kelly’s office on the Near West Side. The woman was picked up from Loomis Street and Carroll Avenue intersection. She was brought to the Rush Hospital at around 4:00 am.
Spokesperson of the Chicago Fire told, “The woman, 31-year-old, was treated in the hospital as she was sexually assaulted and her condition has stabilized”. The woman was picked up from a few blocks away from R. Kelly’s former studio. Police said, “The woman was raped by three people and thrown away from the back door”. The woman believed that she was raped in former Kelly’s studio.
Three males approached her with a vehicle when she was outside a bar close to Franklin Street, according to the police. She entered the car and they took her to a building which she believed was a music studio. Police added, “Two of the three males sexually assaulted the woman inside the building”. The exact location of the assault is still unclear.
The woman left the building and called 911 immediately. The emergency responders found her on the intersection of Loomis Street and Carroll Avenue. Police vehicles were seen outside the building which was the former office of the superstar singer R. Kelly. Police told media that they were investigating a reported case. Police declined to give more details about their presence outside the building.
The woman was driven in a car by three males which took her to a building which she believed was a music studio. The woman was raped and sexually assaulted inside the building by two of the males. Police has started the investigation of the case and they searched a building in which R. Kelly had his studio in the past. The woman was stabled in the hospital after getting necessary treatment, police said.
